Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death; for Samuel grieved over Saul. (Saul never sought Samuel again for advise or to ask God for forgiveness)And the Lord (did not change His mind about removing Saul and his family line from ruling Israel). 1 Samuel 15:35
